Review of Beyonce’s “4”

IT SUXXX, duh.  Track after track of CHEESEY r&b pop ballads, one painful sample of dancehall wannabe white people Major Lazer, I couldn’t listen to one track for more than 30 seconds. BUT I was surprised to find a diamond in the rough.

“Party” which features Andre 3000 is an awesome smooth throwback jam.  Produced by Kanye West, it again proves he should stay in the studio and off the mic (though he of course couldn’t resist laying some vocals at the opening and ending of track, claiming Beyonce drips swagu, ew).  Beyonce’s vocal are sooo on point.  I love how she hits the notes at the end of the verses!

“i may be young but i’m REAADY!”

I was surprised there wasn’t another so called “banger” like Run The World, but if there was I would expect myself to hate it anyway.  “Party” on the other hand has surprisingly been saving my life the past couple of days, so much so I had to dust off the blog and post about it.  Perfect for Friday, sliding your way into the weekend.  DL DL DL DL DL!
